New $12m Coles deal for Lindsay Transport


Lindsay Transport secures additional $12 million freight cartage contract for Coles supermarkets

Queensland-based transport operator Lindsay Transport has secured an additional $12 million freight cartage contract for Coles supermarkets.

The company, which operates out of Brisbane, announced the new deal late last week and will begin moving the additional freight on April 20.

Lindsay Transport’s client base also include Simplot Australia, Cadbury Schweppes, IGA Supermarkets and Woolworths and freight is shared amongst the company’s 700 vehicles and trailers, including 180 prime movers.

The company booked revenue of about $122 million for the last financial year.

Nobody at the company has been available to comment on the deal.
