CEVA wins new distribution work for Caltex stores

CEVA Logistics wins new work cross-docking and distributing goods to Caltex convenience stores

CEVA Logistics has won new work cross-docking and distributing goods to Caltex convenience stores across Australia.

The new supply chain arrangement will see ambient goods dispatched to more than 360 outlets under Caltex’s Star Mart brand.

Soft drinks, confectionary and grocery items will move through cross-dock facilities in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth within dedicated delivery windows.

CEVA vehicles will be fitted with tracking technology to ensure delivery deadlines are met.

CEVA Australia Managing Director Howard Critchley says the deal confirms the company’s footprint in the consumer and retail market.

“[It] demonstrates how CEVA is providing flexible and efficient distribution solutions to optimise the supply chain of customers,” he says.

Caltex’s Centralised Logistic Manger Sam Saysana says CEVA is committed to operations excellence and has a proven record in delivery transport solutions.
