CEVA secures Eaton warehouse contract

CEVA Logistics secures new contract to manage warehouse operations in Australia for Eaton Corporation's electrical sector

CEVA Logistics, a global supply chain management company has announced the signing of a new contract for the management of warehouse operations in Australia for Eaton Corporation’s electrical sector.

The contract will result in Eaton Electrical relocating its existing warehouse facilities in Mascot, New South Wales and Dandenong in Victoria to the CEVA distribution centre at Erskine Park in NSW.

CEVA, which already provides transport service solutions for other Eaton business units, will now include receipt, storage, dispatch and inventory management for Eaton to its customers Australia wide.

The relationship between the two companies stretches back to the early 1990s in America, however this is the first major logistics contract Eaton has outsourced in Australia to CEVA.

Eaton Electric General Manager Lou Rosen says he believes CEVA’s experience in the industry has encouraged the organisation to seek out the contract and he is confident in the capability of the logistics company.

"The CEVA team’s logistics and warehousing expertise indicates that the new operation is in safe and reliable hands," Rosen says.
