All the best, and more to come, from ATN

Like the global economy, the ATN team is slowing down over the festive period. But an upsurge is predicted early in the New Year.

Subscribers will receive their final Fullyloaded.com.au Daily News Bulletin for 2008 today (December 12). The bulletin will return on January 12.

The Brisbane offices of Trader Business Media will close on December 19 for the Christmas break and reopen on January 5.

Another busy and successful year saw ATN launch its brand-new website, including the daily newsletter and new video content, while breaking countless significant political, regulatory and company news stories that set the agenda for the transport industry. The launch of the website saw visitor numbers hit record levels, drove significant subscription growth and created successful new online advertising partnerships.

Despite new competition, the monthly magazine only enhanced its reputation as the most respected brand in the market by continuing to deliver groundbreaking analysis, operational guidance and best-practice case studies on key industry issues. As the ONLY dedicated issues-driven, business-based publication for transport managers the publication continued to serve advertisers the key purchasers and decision-makers in the marketplace.

The launch of Workshop Manager late this year (the second edition is delivered FREE with the February ATN) delivered the same hard-nosed business analysis for the fleet maintenance and management environment. Along with sister publications Owner//Driver and SupplyChain Review, it is complete coverage of the logistics map for the Australasian region.

More exciting initiatives are planned early in 2009, including the launch of the new TruckSearch website to create Australia’s ONLY searchable database of trucks and commercial vehicle specifications. Stay tuned…

So how have we gone this year? Are we still delivering the best intelligence on the transport industry for your business? We value your news tips, business insight and publication feedback and have greatly appreciated your ongoing support during 2008.

Wishing you a safe and relaxing festive period, and a highly prosperous and profitable New Year.
