Advanta Software merges with TransLogix Holdings

Specialist transport and logistics software solutions providers Advanta Software and TransLogix Holdings unveil merger

Advanta Software, specialist software solutions provider to the 3PL and logistics markets, has announced a merger with TransLogix Holdings, a leading supplier of transport solutions to the 3PL market in Australia.

The merged company will command a significant presence as the largest 3PL, transport and logistics solutions provider in the Australian marketplace with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland.

Advanta Software Managing Director Robert Kery says the merger is an ideal fit due to the overlap in the respective markets.

“The two companies have been operating in complementary marketplaces and we believe the merger will generate significant synergies and will benefit clients and staff alike,” he says.

TransLogix Managing Director Anselm Waterfield stresses the benefits to clients from this merger, in particular a broader range of products with a higher level of functionality.

“We are now in a position to offer our customers a more comprehensive end-to-end solution that improves the efficiency, scope, and performance of their business. Our continued investment in R&D will shorten the lead time for new products and further improve efficiency and ROI for our customers,” he says.

The TransLogix group now boasts over 300 clients supported by a larger team of 70 staff with a greater skill set. Advanta shareholders will be shareholders of the merged group headed by Anselm Waterfield as Managing Director, with Robert Kery as Chief Operating Officer and Director.
