MaxiTRANS has thrown its weight behind a new mobile education centre under construction for the Australian Trucking Association (ATA), donating the panels that will be used for both the walls and ceiling of the trailer.

Rambler Concepts is manufacturing the specialist trailer.

To be launched in May, the traveling exhibition has been designed to communicate key messages regarding road transport industry career opportunities and the importance of road safety when sharing highways with trucks.

The mobile education centre will be housed within a state of the art semi-trailer and will travel throughout the country communicating with primary school children, school leavers, trucking enterprises and key industry supporters.

“MaxiTRANS is keen to support this ATA initiative that will enhance road safety and understanding of the vital role of road transport in Australia,” MaxiTRANS Managing Director Michael Brockhoff says

MaxiTRANS is also providing the ATA with access to images and articles that illustrate the evolution of the road transport.

The images are sourced from a collection of Truck and Bus Magazine archives that date back to 1937.
