Vehicle hire group Sargent’s opened a new branch in Newcastle on January 2, with more locations set to be added in South Australia and the Bowen Basin over the coming months.
The latest expansion will increase the company’s network to over 20 locations Australia-wide.
The company is expanding to offer greater flexibility for its customers, ensuring they always receive the premium service they’ve come to expect from the rental, leasing and maintenance solutions market leader. The immediate expansion is just a small step in Sargent’s strategic plan to grow through location and product growth.
Managing Director Mary-Ann Strelow recently announced that 2008 will see even more locations added to Sargent’s network and the possible introduction of forklifts and access equipment to its product line up.
Standing by its motto, ‘For Wheels That Work’, Sargent will continue to distribute products with wheels through its national distribution channel.
Sargent’s current fleet is in excess of 3,000 vehicles and is characterised by an extensive range of 4WD and 2WDs, trucks, vans and buses.
