Hundreds of Kenworths have been recalled PACCAR

A recall notice has been issued by PACCAR Australia for 341 units of all models of Kenworth trucks, within the year range from 2019-2025.

Due to a manufacturing issue, the fitting connecting the delivery hoses to the lift axle spring brake may not have been tightened to the sufficient torque and could become loose. This may cause unintended brake application whilst driving.

A sudden unintended stop while driving, could increase the risk of an accident, causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted and asked to book an appointment with their preferred Kenworth dealership to have the work carried out, free of charge.
