Hinos Australian tour keeps on rolling

While it might not be selling as many tickets as Taylor Swift’s concerts, the Hino Australia promotional tour is bringing plenty of cheer to truck lovers around the country

Rural and regional towns are at the heart of a 130,000km journey currently being undertaken by Hino Australia.

The 2023 leg of Hino Australia national roadshow aims to bring the latest in Hino trucks to all corners of the country to provide customers with the opportunity to drive and experience the vehicles for themselves.

The roadshow, which started in 2022, rolled into Toowoomba in Queensland yesterday and will conclude in Canberra in January.

“In 2022, we were proud to bring our range of next-generation vehicles to over 500 customers as the roadshow travelled to various locations in Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales,” says Richard Emery, vice president of Brand and Franchise Development for Hino Australia.

“For Hino, it was important that our rural and regional customers were provided with the same opportunity to engage with and drive our trucks – as part of the roadshow’s 130,000 kilometre journey, the 2023 leg will travel as far north as Mackay, as far south as Mt Gambier and will cross the Nullarbor to Perth.”

The roadshows are custom designed in conjunction with local dealers to ensure the right trucks are delivered for testing in each market.

“Each dealer will handpick the most appropriate trucks for its market from our range of award-winning light, medium and heavy-duty on and off-road trucks for customers to engage with both static displays and personalised drive opportunities,” Emery says.

A key focus of the roadshow in all locations will be the heavy-duty 700 Series, which is the safest Hino truck ever and meets Euro 6 exhaust emission standards.

“With over 80 years of global experience in design and innovation, the roadshow is an opportunity for Hino to demonstrate our complete line-up of next-generation transport solutions and customer-focused support to our customers.”
