Newly appointed general manager comes from Iveco parts arm
Truckline has seen Martin Hinkley to the role of general manager.
Previously national sales manager ANZ – Iveco Parts, Hinkley brings to the CNH Industrial sister firm nearly 20 years of industry knowledge across both parts and whole goods.
“Truckline has a great history and has always been known for their customer service,” Hinkley says.
“There have been some solid foundations laid in recent years and I’m looking forward to building upon those to take the business to the next level.”
Hinkley gained early experience in parts and sales at local Western Australian dealerships.
“Truckline has a real customer service culture and I don’t think we have promoted that enough,” he says.
“The staff are very modest but they bend over backwards for customers.”

He hopes to build upon this ethos with continued staff training.
“I want to ensure staff continue to be equipped with the right tools and knowledge to deliver peace of mind to customers. I’ve been in the industry for half my life and I’ve started from the ground up, so I really understand how crucial it is for our customers to minimize downtime.”
Hinkley joins Truckline at a time of great progress for the company, with a new e-commerce platform, nation-wide branch refurbishments and potential expansion plans.
“The team has been working on a new online presence, which will offer a whole new level of functionality to customers, and we’re developing plans to expand our footprint,” he says.
“We currently have 22 stores across Australia and a large reseller network, and we’re actively exploring options to expand on that. Whether it involves more branches or leverages the successful reseller model, it’s definitely a focus area.
“Ultimately customers want stability in their suppliers. Not only do we want to make things easier for our customers, we also want them to have faith in our presence, service and offering.”
