Steel transport work means transporter needs 30 new loader cranes
Hiab loader cranes have begun to arrive at Rock Logistics after the transporter placed an order for 30 cranes to tackle steel transport roles.
A customer of the Cargotec subsidiary for close to 10 years, Rock Logistics will receive a combination of X-HiDuo 099, X-HiDuo 122, and X-HiDuo 144 loader cranes to cover contracts across Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, and Queensland.
Rock Logistics business manager Jason Sams says safety is a priority for the Melbourne-based company when it comes to choosing their equipment.
“Our director, Chas Kelly, and customers place the highest level of importance on OH&S requirements and we consistently found Hiab the best provider to meet these needs,” Sams says.
Hiab’s national key accounts manager of APAC sales Brett Porteous thanked the transporter for its continued support.
“Rock Logistics has been a long term client of Hiab Australia and over the years we have built a very strong relationship and understanding of their loader crane requirements,” Porteous says.
“Rock prides themselves as industry leaders and we are of course proud to be there supplier of choice.”
