Freight Assist Australia (FAA) has expanded the capacity of its road train fleet through the addition of a new B-Triple.
The bulk national transport, logistics and 3PL warehousing provider has been consistently expanding its scope of operations since it was founded in 2012, and has now taken its road train fleet to six total combinations.
“Following the continued success of our four A-Doubles and B-Triple, FAA has made a further commitment and successfully delivered our second B-Triple, increasing our road train fleet to six,” a company announcement reads.
“Having six road trains in our fleet enables the safe and effective movement of freight while enhancing our equipment utilisation and freight volumetrics.
“The data has demonstrated improvements in our operations and operating base.
“We are very proud of the men and women who drive our safe operations each night, including frontline workers, leaders and, of course, our drivers.”
FAA also added a pair of 36.5 Vawdrey A-Double combinations to its fleet in April last year, and is continuing work to develop a new, purpose-built transport facility in Willawong, Queensland.
The Willawong facility is expected to be fully operational by the third quarter of 2025.
