Floods with possibly more to come HVIA offers support to members

HVIA reaches out to members affected by floods in South-East QLD and Northern NSW while QLD premier evacuates schools

The HVIA says the impact of this week’s devastating floods across South East Queensland and Northern NSW is still unfolding and a substantial number of HVIA members have been hit hard by what has been a harrowing and confronting experience.

The HVIA team says it has been reaching out to many of those it knows are affected and says it stands ready to help anyone in need.

This comes at a time when further wet weather is predicted with the Queensland premier, Annastacia Palaszczuk today announcing a sudden evacuation of students from all school in the SE QLD area and warning of possible hazardous rain fall further north to the Sunshine Coast and on to Bundaberg.

All of this wet weather is sure to impact supply lines even further with many supermarkets in Brisbane experiencing empty shelves from panic buying for a second time today in just over a week.
