Fleetware introduces smart dash cam for Australian truck fleets

Fleetware has released a new dash cam product that provides smart monitoring for Australian truck drivers

Fleetware (formerly GPS Tracking Systems) has introduced a new smart dash cam for truck fleets in Australia.

Fleetware, a leading provider of Fleet Tracking & Telematics in Australia, has announced the launch of its smart dash cam designed specifically for use in truck fleets.

The new dash cam, which can be easily installed on the dashboard of any truck, is equipped with advanced technology that allows it to record high-quality footage of the road ahead.

This footage can be used to help truck drivers improve their driving skills and avoid accidents, as well as to provide valuable evidence in the case of a collision or other incident on the road.

“We are always looking for ways to improve the safety and efficiency of our truck fleet,” says Fleetware managing director Matt Cooper.

“With our four-in-one truck dash cam solution, you can reduce the top five factors that cause crashes and incidents by up to 80 per cent by combining a truck dash cam with a driver fatigue monitoring system, GPS tracking system, and real-time video streaming. This technology can increase your safety, compliance, and profitability.”

In addition to recording footage of the road ahead, Fleetware says the new dash cam also includes a range of other features that make it a valuable asset for truck fleet managers.

These features include GPS tracking, which allows managers to monitor the location of their trucks in real time, as well as automatic collision detection, which can alert managers to potential accidents before they happen.

“This all-in-one solution combines a telematics unit with real-time streaming video, a forward-facing ADAS camera and a driver-facing fatigue camera,” says Cooper.

“No longer do you have to fit multiple solutions into your trucks, buses and light vehicles.”

Fleetware says the four-in-one truck dash cam can be a game-changer for truck fleet managers in Australia. It provides them with the information and insights they need to keep their trucks running smoothly and safely, without adding any additional burden to the drivers.
