Fleetmark, Australia’s largest applicator of graphics and specialist coatings to the transport industry just got bigger.
Fleetmark took possession of Jayco Caravans old premises at 252 Frankston Dandenong Road Dandenong in Victoria on July 1.
An impressive 6,500 square meters under roof, established on 4 acres becomes the new home for Fleetmark and its seventy employees that will provide PVC curtain fabrication, two 20-metre spray booths and a temperature controlled room specifically constructed to house two large format digital printing machines, is now all under one roof.
Dean Coates, the proprietor of Fleetmark, claims that the second digital large format printer fitted with UV technology was the first commissioned in Australia.
The decision to provide a UV technology solution was driven, in part, by the industries concern with carbon footprints.
“As the transport industry evolves, customers, are demanding environmental initiatives from their suppliers” he says.
The UV high speed printer supercedes the older large format printers that allowed the inks to release solvents into the air we breathe, where the ultra violet lights cure the ink in seconds” says Coates
“In any event, we expect that the older large format printers will, in time, be a thing of the past following recent trends in the European market.
“Most importantly, no third party is required or relied on to produce the final solution, this really is an industry first.”
The new 3 in 1 facility will only boost Fleetmark’s ability to serve it’s growing national customer base more proficiently that now provides signage and coating services to all corners of Australia, now faster than ever before.
“The benefits and efficiencies achieved through providing all three services that facilitates one solution, under one roof, is a very significant outcome for our customers.”
