Ron Finemore joins Rocky’s Own Transport and Simon National Carriers in sponsoring the Safety Truck initiative
Ron Finemore has become the latest trucking firm to pledge financial support for the Safety Truck initiative, following in the footsteps of Rocky’s Own Transport and Simon National Carriers.
Ron Finemore Transport was named today as the latest sponsor of the Australian Trucking Association’s (ATA) road safety exhibition, which travels the countryside sharing road safety tips and explaining how to drive safely around trucks.
In return for the company’s support, an animated version of a Ron Finemore truck wil be included in the videos displayed in the Safety Truck exhibition.
“The Safety Truck is a great initiative. We need to show the community that our industry does go the extra mile when it comes to safety, and supporting the Safety Truck is one way we can do this,” Chairman Ron Finemore says.
“I’ve spent 40 years working to improve safety in the trucking industry, and it’s the top priority in my business.”
ATA Corporate Relations Manager Steve Power says the support from companies like Ron Finemore Transport helps the association take the Safety Truck to areas where it is most needed to help improve road safety.
