Feds talk infrastructure with Japanese

The Australian Government has again met with the Japanese Government to discuss infrastructure investment

October 10, 2012

The Australian Government has again met with the Japanese Government and senior industry representatives to discuss Australian infrastructure investment.

Federal Transport Minister Anthony Albanese today took part in the third meeting of the Australia-Japan Public Private Infrastructure Policy Dialogue.

Albanese says the dialogue provides opportunity for
the two countries to exchange ideas and leverage core competencies.

“This forum also provides an opportunity to explore mutual infrastructure investment opportunities and will further boost our strong bilateral economic relations,” he says.

“Japan is Australia’s second largest export market and Japanese investment has helped to deliver some of the biggest infrastructure projects in this country – including the Sydney Harbour Tunnel and Melbourne’s CityLink toll road.”
