Fastway spruiks performance of Blu Couriers

Added flexibility at busy times pleases new CEO


Delivery network Fastway Couriers has hailed the Blu Couriers initiative it launched before Christmas.

Fastway, which early last year became an Aramex firm, and last month gained Peter Lipinski as its new CEO, says it now has 150 franchisee drivers on its books.

Lipinski insists the launch demonstrated that Blu Couriers allows Fastway Courier franchisees to scale up to meet growing demand whilst providing a flexible work option.

“In my role as Fastway COO last year, I was heavily involved with the development of Blu Couriers and while we had invested time and resources in optimising the model, it’s been very rewarding to hear such positive feedback from our franchisees, our Blu drivers, and our customers,” he says. 

“With three in four internet users in Australia now shopping online, delivery demand is rising dramatically.

“The successful launch of Blu Couriers over the holiday period shows how through utilising the sharing economy we’re able to help our courier franchisees upscale to meet growing demand.
