Expanded online parts offering from Isuzu

Isuzu unveils new parts and accessories website aimed at speeding up the ordering process for truck owners

Isuzu Australia has unveiled a new parts and accessories website aimed at speeding up the ordering process for truck owners.

The website is the latest initiative of the spare parts division, which has recently expanded to meet customer demand in line with the number of trucks the company has sold.

Isuzu Australia Marketing Manager Jeff Birdseye says the company has sold nearly 32,000 trucks since 2008 alone, creating significant demand for spares and accessories.

As well as the ability to order parts for newer models directly, the new website provides owners with information on the company’s best value parts programme for older trucks, and also promotional activities.

National Parts Manager John Plunkett says need for the website grew from Isuzu’s new truck sales volumes, as well as other applications, such as marine and stationery engines, that Isuzu provides parts for.

“In recent years Isuzu has greatly expanded their parts and accessories range including the introduction of lubricants, batteries and driveline parts to support a wide range of truck makes and it was a logical choice to establish a dedicated parts website to properly display and promote them,” Plunkett says.
