The new delivery of Volvo trucks is helping Exodas continue its expansion across the east coast
Seven new Volvo trucks have joined the Exodas fleet in the Queensland-based transport company’s biggest Volvo delivery to date.
The Volvos, which range from an FM11 and FH13 to FH16 600 XXL Globetrotters, will handle duties from local distribution through to multi-trailer linehaul.
Started by Brett Tynan in 2001 with just two trucks, Exodas has since grown its fleet to around 100 trucks and 30 rigids.
Its operations are mostly along the east coast, with six depots across Queensland and New South Wales.
Tynan says he and his colleagues are big fans of Volvo, not just for their trucks but for their customer support.
“Obviously we love the product,” Tynan says.
“However, it’s the back-up and the people we deal with from Volvo on a daily basis that gets us over the line every time.
“All our Volvo Group trucks are covered by gold service agreements which give us a lot more peace of mind when it comes to servicing, back up and costing.”
Tynan says the 22-year-old Yatala based company has depots on the NSW Central Coast, Yatala, Townsville, Bowen, Tully and Mareeba to help cart sensitive freight.
“Just knowing that if there’s an issue, the driver can get help at the push of a button makes a big difference, it keeps our wheels turning and our business running,” he says.
Volvo Commercial Vehicle Australia dealer principal Greg Sargeant says: “Trust is vital in any partnership, and it’s great to see Exodas’ continued success and growth.
“We’re proud to have the Exodas team as part of the Volvo family, and we look forward to supporting them for many more years to come.”
