Azmeb to make truck show first

Bulk trailer manufacturerto feature door side tipper as it looks to gain greater exposure

Bulk trailer maker Azmeb Bulk Transfer Systems will make its Brisbane Truck Show debut in May.

Azmeb plans to display its door side tipper product, with a view to giving it and the MaxiTrans-owned firm greater market exposure following its recent expansion.

Azmeb General Manager Simon Martin believes that, for many, “this will be the first time they’ve seen an Azmeb tipper up close. We are looking forward to the opportunity to demonstrate first-hand the many advantages of our design”.

The tipper has a single hydraulic ram construction, which the firm says lessens the need for extra controls and hydraulic circuits, in turn reducing potential downtime.

“The single ram design means that when the trailer tips, there is only one action for tipping and door opening combined, speeding up the overall process considerably,” Martin states.

“The bowl floor design also aids this fast unloading process, as it reduces sticking and avoids product getting caught in the corners of the tub. Dependent on the hydraulic flow supplied, the whole load can be tipped in as little as 25 seconds.”

A heavy duty rubber hinge on the door is another feature of the product. “The rubber hinge is tough, durable, and isn’t prone to rust,” Martin claims.

“Meanwhile, a continuous tub-to-chassis pivot bearing distributes loads evenly across the tub and chassis, resulting in low maintenance and trouble free operation.”

The display trailer features the renowned heavy duty VE-50 mechanical suspension, Maxus drum axles, a manual roll-over tarp, Fullchamp forged alloy wheels, Triangle tyres and boasts a 23 cubic metre load capacity. Capacities can range from 14 to 57 cubic metres.
