Isuzu leads the way at international trailer and truck show

Isuzu has used the inaugural Melbourne International Trailer, Truck and Equipment Show (ITTES) to unveil its expanded range of truck

Isuzu has used the inaugural Melbourne International Trailer, Truck and Equipment Show (ITTES) to unveil its expanded range of truck models, which included a fleet of 18 new generation trucks.

The list of new vehicles spanned the N, F, FX and Giga Series, which pumps out more than 500hp.
The stand, which included detailed display boards, specification and information brochures, multimedia videos and a complementary coffee service, was runner up for the Best Truck Display Award at the show.

With such an impressive range on show backed up by the company’s Isuzu Care program, Marketing Manager Jeff Birdseye says Isuzu expects to continue its strong sales growth, which has led the way in truck sales 19 years running.

“The release of Isuzu’s all-new N and F Series ranges late last year and more recently our heavy duty FX and Giga Series launch, provides truck buyers with over 100 different Isuzu models to choose from, ranging in size from two tonne capacity through to our B Double-capable Gigamax with 510 horsepower,” he says.

“And backed by our industry-leading Isuzu Care program, we are confident Isuzu will continue to satisfy Australian transport operators’ needs well into the future.”

Its strong customer focus was also recognised, with Isuzu picking up the Best Truck Stand Customer Service Approach award at the show.

Birdseye says Isuzu’s customer care philosophy is delivering customer service which is setting new benchmarks in the industry.

“Isuzu Care is establishing new standards in customer service throughout the industry, and this is now evident whether contact is made at the dealership level, direct with IAL or at exhibitions such as the ITTES,” he says.

“The transport industry has acknowledged our customer service offerings at the Melbourne Truck Show and given recognition to our efforts with the Isuzu Customer Care program, and we’re delighted to have received the award.”
