Duncan Gay to launch Container Control

Product promised to reduce truck trips

January 29, 2013

New South Wales Roads and Ports Minister Duncan Gay is set to launch
a product promised to reduce truck trips.

Freight and logistics company 1-Stop Connections has announced its Container Control product will be revealed Wednesday next week in conjunction with the National ICT Australia (NICTA).

1-Stop Connections CEO Michael Bouari says Container Control will allow participants in the supply chain to work together to reduce unecessary truck trips.

“There are cost savings for everyone, but the biggest win will be how this product reduces traffic congestion and therefore reduces carbon emissions without any government funding,” he says.

Gay is expected to officially launch the product at the NICTA Head Office.
