Dual control side-loading Isuzu set to star at Australasian Waste and Recycling Expo

Isuzu’s hero truck for the 2023 Australasian Waste & Recycling Expo (AWRE) will be a FVY240-300 Auto with Dual Control

There will be nothing rubbish about the Isuzu stand at this year’s Australasian Waste & Recycling Expo to be held at Sydney’s International Convention and Exhibition Centre from July 26-27.

The AWRE event brings together a vast array of suppliers to the waste and recycling industry under one roof, keen to promote their ideas and share opportunities with those charged with dealing with the nation’s discards.

Isuzu Trucks will be there to promote its trucks and aftercare service solutions.

IAL Chief of Sales and Aftersales Ben Lasry says Isuzu is a long term supporter of the event and the industry.

“Convention goers will be able to experience for themselves an outstanding medium-duty offering from Isuzu at AWRE this year in the form of our FVY 240-300 Auto Dual Control, which finds a home in many waste-related activities, from kerb side collection to recycling,” Lasry says.

A comfortable interior with air ride seats is part of the package on the new Isuzu trucks

“AWRE has always been an innovative event which showcases the industry’s willingness to face Australia’s changing waste management and recycling challenges head on.

“We are delighted to be back again and taking part in the important conversations for the future.”

Isuzu’s FVY 240-300 with Dual Control and side-loader is a medium-duty truck packed with safety features including electronic stability control, an anti-lock braking system and an anti-skid regulator.

The truck also has the added comfort of an Isri 6860 air suspension seat in both RHS and LHS driving positions, to give operators a safer and more comfortable experience during long shifts.

Isuzu representatives will also be on hand to talk about after care for their waste management fleets, conscious of the timely nature of the work the trucks do.

“Isuzu Trucks is here to support this hard-working industry with an aftercare package that will work equally hard for them,” Lasry says.

“We are looking forward to greeting event goers in July, walking them through everything that Isuzu has to offer, and showing off the capabilities of our FVY platform.”
