Deloitte buyer call for TMR Logistics

First creditors meeting after voluntary administration

 

Deloitte is looking for buyers for Melbourne businesses TMR Logistics and HERE Logistics.

The companies are related entities and provide third-party logistics and warehousing services specialising in imported and exported goods from premises in Tottenham in Melbourne’s west, the accountancy says.

A first meeting of creditors is due take place in Melbourne today.

“We are seeking an urgent sale of the assets and business of both companies, and have already received significant interest from potential buyers,” voluntary administrator,, and Deloitte Restructuring Services partner Michael Billingsley tells ATN.

“In the meantime, we are continuing to trade the business on a ‘business as usual’ basis.

“All staff have been retained and we are working with them, as well as suppliers and customers, to maximise the value of the business prior to its sale.”

That was all Deloitte was prepared to say “at this point”.

LinkedIn has an entry for Tom Heany as TMR CEO and another as CEO of ARL Logistics, which Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) records show had liquidators appointed in January.

TMR states on its website that it controls “Melbourne’s largest cross dock container unpacking hub, offering very attractive unpack and delivery rates.

“At our disposal 12,000 sqm of undercover AQIS approved warehouse with 45t container reach stacker and loading docks.

“We can transport from wharf or you can deliver your container to our site. We are very versatile and competent.”
