DB Schenker has announced the appointment of Helen Angell to the position of Chief Information Officer, Australia and New Zealand.
Angell commenced the new role in September, 2024, and is now responsible for leading the IT and Digital department in the ANZ region to enable business growth, explore and introduce new innovations, and ensure the business is digitally focused.
She has come to the role with impressive pedigree in the IT space and has spent over 30 years in roles across a range of industries including finance, construction, equipment and consulting.
“Helen has particular expertise in enabling business success by leveraging technology solutions, which will be an asset to the DB Schenker ANZ team,” DB Schenker ANZ CEO Craig Davison says.
“Having worked in CIO and Director roles for major companies, Helen brings a wealth of knowledge to our senior leadership team.”
Angell says the rapidly increasing confidence in technology throughout the logistics industry means it’s an exciting time to join one of the world’s leading brands.
“DB Schenker is well respected in the logistics industry,” she says. “With the increasing prevalence of condition monitoring, tracking and other digital technologies as part of the supply chain, it’s an exciting time to be driving IT initiatives within the company.”
