Three Fuso models are included in the recall due to a software issue
Daimler Truck and Bus Australia has become the latest heavy vehicle manufacturer to issue a truck recall.
The recall lodged into the department of transport and infrastructure says 165 affected models across the Fuso FK6, FM6 and FN6 2019 models are part of the notice.
The recall has been issued due to a software issue that may mean the rear stop lamps won’t operate as intended, possibly resulting in road users being unable to identify when the vehicle is braking.

Daimler says owners of the affected vehicles can contact an authorised Daimler commercial vehicle dealership to have the work carried out free of charge before it becomes a road hazard.
Daimler says the Fuso FK6, FM6 and FN6 are all impacted, but only in the 2019 model.
