Crouch succeeds McIntosh as NatRoad’s president

The managing director of Ron Crouch Transport steps into the presidency of NatRoad after Rob McIntosh’s reign ended last week

The managing director of Ron Crouch Transport has taken over the presidency of industry representative group NatRoad, replacing Rob McIntosh.

A director of NatRoad since 2007, Geoff Crouch was appointed the new president at the group’s annual general meeting on August 6.

Crouch, who has previously served as vice president of NatRoad, has been in the trucking game for more than 20 years. He has been the managing director of Wagga Wagga-based Ron Crouch Transport for the last 12 years and is heavily involved in community positions.

NatRoad has also named Shaws Darwin Transport Managing Director Allan Thornley as its new vice president.

Brett Amezdroz from the Wettenhalls Group will be the new person in charge of NatRoad’s purse strings, with the association naming him its treasurer. Amezdroz is the Executive Chairman of Wettenhalls and has spent 27 years in trucking.

In announcing its new line-up, NatRoad also praised the work of McIntosh, former treasurer Noelene Watson one of its directors, Robert Blanchard. All three retired from their positions at the AGM.
