Colourful van boosts impact for Perth property team

There is no missing the Perth Property Co when they roll up to a house as part of the real estate sales process

The business of buying and selling property is a lot more complex than it might look at first glance.

There are houses to style, photos to be taken, insurances to be negotiated, mortgages to be sought, contracts to write and expectations to be managed from buyers and sellers often making the biggest decisions of their lives.

There’s also a lot of competition for the attention of those buyers and sellers and Perth Property Co Directors Nadija Begovich and Dan Broad have taken a practical step to capture a bit of that with their custom painted Iveco Daily van which would be impossible to miss on any street.

This dynamic duo, a husband and wife team, have combined their backgrounds in insurance, mortgage broking, home sales and styling to offer at ‘start to finish’ property service and use their customised van to help shuffle furniture from house to house.

“Having both worked in the industry for some years with other companies, we identified areas in which we thought we could do things better,” Nadija says.

“As the business owners, one of our main points of difference is our commitment – we recognise the financial and emotional investments that people have in their properties and our promise to them is that we’ll work tirelessly to achieve the best outcomes for their sale.”

Know the strength of making a strong first impression, the team offer a complementary staging service to ensure homes are presented at the top of their game for prospective sellers.

The team’s Iveco Daily is great for staging days

With a well-stocked warehouse full of furniture, plants, artwork and homewares, The Perth Property Co is able to add a flourish to their listings, and make use of the van to bring those visions to life.

“Servicing the greater Perth area, on many occasions we found ourselves needing to make multiple journeys from our warehouse to the properties we were staging, and we were losing a lot of time doing this,” Nadija says.

“This led us to consider if there were better alternatives, and initially we looked at pantech bodied cab chassis before we discovered the Iveco Daily van could give us the space we needed but in a much nicer package.”

A trip to AV Trucks led the couple to purchase a 35S Daily with 12 cubic metres of capacity, 180hp Euro6 engine and 8-speed full automatic transmission – more than enough for the jobs they had in mind.

“The Daily fits in a standard parking bay, it’s maneuverable, easy to drive and has all the safety equipment we wanted, and importantly, it’s saving us a lot of time,” she says.

“As well as being really functional, we think the van looks modern and it’s equipped with all the luxuries – even heated seats – it’s definitely in another league to what we were using previously.”

To stand out on the road, The Perth Property Co Daily features a colourful custom wrap in company branding, while on the inside the van is fitted with rubber floor lining to protect its cargo.
