CEVA Logisitics has launched a new range of 100 percent recyclable food grade polymer returnable plastic containers (RPCs) through its materials handling arm in Australia, CEVA Pallecon.

CEVA Australia CEO Howard Critchley says the RPCs are aimed at meeting a rising demand by vegetable growers looking for an “easy-to-fold, safe and efficient” fresh food packaging solution.

According to Critchley, the new pallet range is designed to maximise product protection and pack efficiency throughout the entire supply chain process. They come in a variety of sizes and colours for designed at simplifying closed loop operations.

“The RPCs are another great example of how CEVA Pallecon are providing unique and innovative packaging solutions for the storage, distribution and handling of raw materials, ingredients and finished products,” he says.

CEVA says the pallets, which offer a cross and column stacking capability and result in improved load stability when transported, have met with approval by farmers across the country.
