CEVA Logistics clocks up double milestones

Celebration at supersite as supply chain powerhouse expands

International supply chain management company CEVA Logistics has brought up a double milestone in style at its new Melbourne premises.

The celebrations mark ten years of operations as CEVA Logistics and one year of operation at the Truganina supersite.

CEVA Logistics was established in 2007 following a merger of TNT and Eagle Global Logistics.

It operates in over 160 countries worldwide and has over 60 facilities in Australia and New Zealand.

The Truganina site is expected to have doubled in size by the end of the year from its original build to approximately 300,000 square metres.

The site comprises eight individual facilities, including vehicle logistics, contract logistics and freight management. It employs over 200 people.

CEVA Logistics MD Australia and New Zealand Carlos Velez Rodriguez says the company will host a staff event at the supersite.

“We are delighted to be able to celebrate two landmark achievements at the same time with our colleagues and customers,” Rodriguez says.

“I’d particularly like to pay tribute to our staff, be they working at this site or others in Australia and New Zealand cluster, for their dedication and hard work in making this company the success it is today.

“A number of them have been with us for many more than the ten years we are marking today and we salute them all.”
