Centurion snaps up Sodexo site services contract expansion

New deal to increase Centurion's refrigerated trailer fleet

Western Australian logistics provider Centurion is spruiking its latest deal, a three-year “plus options” agreement with French food services and facilities management firm Sodexo.

The contract expands Centurion’s Sodexo logistics support services from 32 sites to 43 sites throughout the Goldfields, Mid-West and Pilbara regions.

Centurion already supplies perishable and non-perishable products to a large number of mine site camps managed by Sodexo.

A similar service will also be deployed to the 11 additional sites awarded by Sodexo to Centurion.

Services to the new sites will require additional Australian-built refrigerated trailers to be procured and deployed ahead of the start date, Centurion notes, with services on existing routes to continue unaffected.

Centurion has also been busy with mining services deals recently

Centurion CEO Justin Cardaci says Centurion and Sodexo have been strategic partners for more than six years.

“The contract extension and expansion strengthens the relationship between Centurion and Sodexo and builds a solid platform for further growth across Australia, and in particular the East Coast,” Cardaci says.

Centurion’s fleet of refrigerated trailers in service to retail and resources industries, servicing the northwest and northeast regions, is currently over 220 assets across regional and remote sites across the west coast of Australia.
