Bruce Highway night works to slow freight

Freight operators travelling on the Bruce Highway may experience delays, with lane reductions in place on Bakers Creek Bridge from this week.

TMR advises that these changes will begin on February 15, and go until Thursday February 26, from 7pm to 4am.

During works hours, all vehicles 3.5 metres or wider cruising along the Bruce Highway through Bakers Creek Road, are required to give 24 hours’ notice to Project Manager – Peeyush Matey 0491 613 741 peeyush.m.matey@tmr.qld.gov.au.

Failure to meet these conditions may result in delays to access through the worksite during working hours.

Oversize Overmass (OSOM) vehicles can travel outside of working hours as normal.

All work is subject to construction progress and weather conditions.
