Brisbane Airport is expected to stay open after surviving this morning's high tide without any critical infrastructure being compromised

Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) is confident the airport will now stay open after the airport survived the 4am high tide without any critical infrastructure being compromised.
The international and domestic terminals, runways, taxiways, carparks and roads are all clear of water and operating.
Now the worst is passed, BAC says the airport will stay open, but it will continue to monitor water levels throughout the week as a precaution.
Meanwhile, public transport to and from Brisbane Airport is available but limited.
Airtrain Gold Coast service is still running but only to Yeerongpilly.
Roads on the Brisbane Airport precinct are currently open and are expected to remain open from now on.
