Iveco will be rolling out 100 vans in its Daily Blue colours after winning a major industry award in Europe
You can’t yet buy the vehicle named International Van of the Year 2018 by a consortium of European truck and logistics magazines – but you can certainly snap up the look.
Iveco’s Daily Blue Power van took out the award earlier this year, with judges praising the way the vehicle’s powertrains helped to reduce the operators’ environmental impact.
The Daily Blue enjoys added road presence and is easily identifiable by its white exterior paintwork with electric blue grille, distinctive blue headlight edges, blue alloy wheels and special edition badging.
The theme continues on the inside with blue steering wheel stitching, unique headrests and a blue transmission shifter that complements a blue dashboard which comes standard in models fitted with Iveco’s Hi-Matic 8-speed full automatic transmission.
While the van itself is not planned for release in Australia any time soon, its eye-catching colour treatment is making its way down under, with Iveco dishing out its eye-catching colour treatment on 100 new Daily 35S17 vans.
Iveco Australia marketing manager Darren Swenson says the company will also offer an extended five-year/200,000km factory warranty on the new vehicles, as well as free scheduled servicing for vehicles financed through CNH Industrial Capital – which he says will further reduce its cost.
“Only 100 examples have been made available and Iveco is confident that they’ll be snapped up quickly by discerning buyers,” he says.
The limited edition Daily Blue-inspired Daily 35S17 vans can be ordered through local Iveco dealership.
