Australian team reaches VISTA world final

A team of service and workshop personnel from Volvo Trucks and Buses in Sydney will represent Australia in world final

A team of service and workshop personnel from Volvo Trucks and Buses at Chullora in Sydney will represent Australia in the world final of the 2009 VISTA challenge, run by Volvo Commercial Vehicles.

The final will be held at Volvo’s head office in Gotenborg, Sweden, on June 11, with 28 teams from 26 countries making the final, out of the initial field of 3500 teams, representing 70 countries.

Neil Heinemann, Competence Development Manager for Volvo Commercial Vehicles Australia, says the VISTA tournament is a ‘great opportunity’ for participants to develop further, which also benefits customers.

The finals encompass a full day’s difficult practical tests where teamwork, technical expertise and problem-solving ability using Volvo’s system for service and parts are some of the crucial factors.
