Australia Post has appointed Ainsleigh Thomas as the new national fleet and equipment project and stakeholder lead.
For almost five years she worked at StarTrack, her latest role being a fleet control manager.
“A huge thank you to StarTrack, for taking a chance on a small-town country girl with big-city dreams,” she says.
“I’ll never forget the belief that was placed in me, and I’ll always be grateful for the opportunity to prove myself.
“Looking back at the growth, challenges & opportunities I have experienced as I close out this chapter.”
Thomas says working in overnight express Linehaul has shaped her in ways she never expected.
“The urgency, the high-stakes decision-making, & the adrenaline-fuelled problem-solving has become part of who I am, and I don’t know what I’m going to do not needing to have my phone on 24 hours a day! I’ll always have a strange love for Linehaul,” she says.
“To everyone I’ve crossed paths with along the way, thank you. Whether you offered support, advice or simply a listening ear, you’ve each helped shape my journey.
“I’m so proud of my time with StarTrack & excited for what’s next back joining the National Fleet & Equipment team at Australia Post!”
