The ATA says a new report will be released at its annual conference outlining the potential opportunities and challengers for the industry going forward.

The Australia Trucking Association (ATA) has given industry professionals and transport workers another reason to consider attending its annual industry conference, announcing that it will launch a new report on the state of trucking in Australia at Trucking Australia 23 (TA23).

The report, titled Trucking Australia, will examines the industry which the ATA says finds itself at a pivotal moment.

The association says the burden of the last few years, unresolved long-term problems and future technology and transition challenges have all converged.

It could be a perfect storm if we don’t work together to turn this moment into an opportunity, warns the ATA.

The report looks at the industry today and examines how we can secure its future tomorrow and beyond.

Registration for Trucking Australia 2023 (TA23) is now open, the conference will be held at the Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort, from March 29-31.

The ATA says TA23 is a great opportunity for businesses and professionals to keep up to date with the latest industry news and trends as well as connect with experts who know the industry inside out.

ATA Chair David Smith says TA23 will be the premier industry event.

“This will be our very best opportunity to come together and discuss the critical issues trucking operators really want resolved like driver shortages, fuel costs and access,” Smith says.

“The Trucking Australia 2023 conference will be such a great opportunity to spark conversation and ideas that help shape the direction of our industry.”

The ATA also promises there’ll be lots of opportunities to socialise including the TA23 Welcome Drinks, the Kenworth Legends Lunch and the ATA Foundation Sponsors Gala Awards Dinner featuring the National Trucking Industry Awards.
