Global law firm Ashurst has revealed it is advising global logistics and freight forwarding network Toll Group on leaving its joint venture with Cargo Services.
With Toll Group’s network covering 150 countries, it’s looking to exit its joint venture with the Hong Kong based freight forwarder.
Ashurst says Toll has completed the sale of its minority interest in the joint venture with Cargo Services, including the sale of its minority stake in the logistics company to DP World.
Following the transaction, Toll Group will complete its exit from the joint venture.
Ashurst partner Josh Cole was supported by Sean Ching on the transaction, with Singapore based partner Michelle Phang providing Singapore law advice while partners Cliff Chow and Michael Weatherly advised on the dispute resolution aspects of the deal.
