Two new members bring major project and finance experience to body
The Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) has two new board members, with David Saxelby and Jennifer Seabrook appointed by the federal government today.
According to a government media statement, the new appointments will bring strong leadership to the government’s future rail investment and reform agenda as Saxelby offers experience in construction and infrastructure contracting and Seabrook offers finance and capital market expertise.
Saxelby’s history includes major projects such as the Lane Cove Tunnel, ANZAC Bridge and NorthConnex, while Seabrook has over 20 years of board experience in director-level roles with Iluka Resources Limited, IRESS Limited, MMG Limited and Western Australian Treasury Corporation.
Both will be involved in the Inland Rail project from Melbourne to Brisbane, the government says, and are “committed to ensuring that our national freight network is as efficient and effective as possible”.
The appointments join Helen Nugent, John Fullerton, Gillian Brown, Jay Bonnington, Vince Graham and Chris Barlow as ARTC directors.
