ALC announces keynote speakers for 2023 conference

The Australian Logistics Council (ALC) has announced some exciting keynote speakers for its upcoming industry conference as well as detailing other features of the event including awards.

The Australian Logistics Council (ALC) has announced two keynote speakers at ALC Supply Chain Summit 2023, which will run next month in Brisbane.

Australia Post’s CEO and managing director Paul Graham will headline the first address, followed by Secretary of the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts, Jim Betts.

The ALC says Graham will dive deep into ‘State of the Supply Chain Nation: An industry view’, providing delegates with a fascinating temperature check on the industry from one of Australia’s most respected supply chain leaders.

While Betts will provide a unique perspective drawing on the theme of the conference, ‘Navigating the Reality of Australia’s Supply Chains’, shining an important light on the current realities, challenges and opportunities facing the industry and Australia.

The ALC says in addition to its keynote speaker lineup, there will also be plenty of other speakers with deep levels of experience. Other speakers will include industry professionals, government officials and leading experts.

Some of the other speakers include Mark Mazurek, Joe Buffone, Marika Calfas, Frankie Muskovic, Heather Bone, Mindy Espidio-Garcia, Saul Cannon, Senator Glenn Sterle and Annette Karantoni.

With the theme ‘Navigating the Reality of Australia’s Supply Chains’ guiding all sessions, the ALC says there are some exciting topics that will appeal to anyone who works in or wants to further understand end-to-end supply chains.

This year’s summit will also see the ALC launch its inaugural ALC Supply Chain Summit Awards. These awards will recognise outstanding work and achievements across the depth and breadth of the supply chain and logistics industry, presented at the Gala Dinner.
