ACFS Port Logistics unveils state-of-the-art Hazelemere depot

ACFS has expanded in Western Australia with the opening of its latest depot

ACFS Port Logistics (ACFS) has officially opened its new depot in Perth suburb Hazelmere.

ACFS says the depot is another step towards strengthening its position as a trusted partner in the Australian logistics industry, with the company confident that the expansion will enable it to better serve clients in the state.

The site comes equipped with a warehouse and container yard and has a five-star green rating along with a 99kw solar system.

ACFS says the 15,000 square metre warehouse can store more than 20,000 pallets, while its new container depot provides a 11,850 square metre hardstand.

Features of the multi-site warehouse include four recessed docks, a high volume unpack/pack facility and technology that ACFS says will allow its Hazelmere team to optimise storage, handling and its distribution processes.

The site’s container depot will be reinforced by ACFS transport fleet. ACFS says the fleet will deliver full container loads and support full tautliner load and less-than-container load service requirements.

The container depot has been provided with equipment, such as reach stackers, along with 36 power charging points for reefer storage, with CCTV also being equipped in both the yard and the warehouse.

ACFS says with the depot’s opening, its Western Australia team is ready to meet its clients’ needs and deliver exceptional service.
