ACFS Port Logistics adds B-Triples to fleet

A new fleet of B-Triples – including a Super B-Triple – has bolstered ACFS Port Logistics’ Port of Brisbane operations

Australian company ACFS Port Logistics has bolstered its Queensland operations with the introduction of a new fleet of B-Triples to service its operational capacity at Port of Brisbane.

The new fleet is headlined by the brand-new Super B-Triple that measures 42 metres long and has the ability to transport up to six TEUs per trip, or either six 20ft containers or three 40ft containers.

“The expanded fleet enables us to optimise the TEU capacity per load, reducing the number of trips needed and cutting emissions by an impressive 33 per cent per container,” a statement from the company reads.

“This achievement marks a substantial step forward in our mission to build a more sustainable and environmentally conscious operation.”

ACFS Port Logistics also congratulated the efforts of Wayne Jenkins – its Transport Manager – for helping secure the trucks’ approvals.

“His leadership and vision, along with the invaluable support of Port of Brisbane Trade and Logistics Manager Nicole Murray and DP World Landside Superintendent Kate Breen, has played a critical role in making this expansion a reality.

“Their collaborative efforts have been essential in moving this project forward.

“This milestone is a direct result of the hard work and dedication of our incredible team.

“Together, we are shaping the future of logistics and setting new standards for the industry.”
