2025 Australasian Fleet Champions Awards winners announced

Australasia's fleet sector celebrates the hard work and dedication of organisations working to reduce road deaths and injuries caused by work vehicles

The safety efforts of Australian and New Zealand transport fleets have been celebrated at the 11th annual Australasian Fleet Champions Awards this week.

Organised by the road safety charity, Brake, the awards focus on recognising companies and individuals who have implemented successful initiatives, products or services to tackle fleet safety.

The winners were announced on November 11 at a celebratory dinner and awards ceremony in Auckland hosts by sports broadcaster Stephen McIvor with guest Greg Murphy providing some racing insight.

As well as categories for organisations, three individual awards were presented to fleet professionals including the prestigious Outstanding Commitment to Road Safety Award, which was awarded to Gerard Jull of Waiotahi Contractors.

Brake NZ director Caroline Perry says it was another strong year for the awards.

“We are delighted to see organisations working hard to help ensure their employees, contractors and other road users get home safely every day,” Perry says.

“The organisations represented at the awards are striving to make a real difference to fleet and road safety, and we hope their work and achievements inspire other organisations to implement measures to address their own risks too.

“Congratulations to all the winners and highly commended entrants at this year’s Fleet Champions Awards.
