Entries are now open for the annual Commercial Vehicle Industry Association of Queensland (CVIAQ) Industry Recognition Awards, turning the spotlight on industry members for outstanding contribution.
The award is for CVIAQ members, individual employees of members and groups consisting principally of CVIAQ members within the transport sector.
The award allows for recognition of efforts across all facets of the transport industry, rather than specific sections, and recognises excellence in performance, outstanding achievement and any other factor resulting in a significant contribution to the commercial vehicle industry.
All nominations must be made by a current CVIAQ member and should consider both professional and personal achievements, as well as full details of the information to be considered.
The Award Plaque will be presented to the winner and also recorded on an Honour Roll on display in the CVIAQ office.
Nominations for the 2009 Award will close on Friday, 18 September ahead of the presentations at the Greek Club, South Brisbane on Saturday, October 3.
