Eastern Plant Hire looking for subcontractors

Eastern Plant Hire is looking to expand its fleet of earthmoving and tip truck contractors for work across Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney

With a mission to provide world-class earthmoving equipment hire solutions, Eastern Plant Hire (EPH) supplies trucks and earthmoving equipment to major projects throughout QLD, NSW and VIC.

On any day, EPH has over 1,000 independent subcontractors working across a variety of sites, from small domestic projects to large commercial developments and major infrastructure project, providing its clients with access to a one-stop shop of accredited and experienced operators.

“EPH is an agency that works to find the right subcontractor for the right jobs on behalf of our clients,” says EPH director David Willson.

“We do this by identifying qualified operators, assessing the quality of the operator, and providing support to the client, whilst the operator performs their assigned services.

“All our subcontractors are ranked based on their performance and work is dispersed in a way that represents their ranking, therefore ensuring that those who work hard are rewarded. In the same way, our clients can be assured they receive exceptional quality service for their important job.

“The vital relationships forged with our subcontractors and clients have been built on qualities such as trust, honesty and respect.”

As part of its commitment to provide a high level of service to both its clients and subcontractors, EPH has developed the subcontractor Ambassador Program to create a point of difference from other plant hire firms; offering a select number of subcontractors an agreement in which priority work is offered in return for exceptional customer service and performance.

EPH app

EPH has also developed its own app, providing added convenience for its subcontractors. On the app, subcontractors can ‘hotlist’ themselves as being available for work without calling the office, see all upcoming and previous payments, upload documents for all of their equipment and accept jobs instantly without the need for paper dockets.

“Our EPH app means that there’s a lot less time taken up by paperwork and they can see exactly how much they’ve earned and when they’re going to get paid,” says EPH owner Michael Willson.

As well as providing a convenient platform for operators to view job details and accept or decline jobs in real time, the app also improves communication on-site between operators, clients and EPH by having clear job instructions accessible by all parties.

Get on board

“Because we are a company that regularly takes on major cartage jobs, we are always looking for more quality operators to add to Team EPH,” says Michael Willson.

“We are recruiting for trucks and earthmoving equipment subbies in QLD, NSW and VIC. All three of our states are thriving and we have loads of work – quite literally, the more subbies the better!

“We have just secured new major project work across Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne and we have consistent, long-term opportunities for all types of trucks/earthmoving equipment. Register your gear today!”
