Volvo rewards leading dealers

The truck manufacturer recently held its annual awards night

For the first time in three years the Volvo Group Australia held its dealer of the year awards in a face-to-face event during the 2022 Volvo Dealer Conference.

The awards recognise excellence in key areas of the customer journey as well as service provided and employee engagement.

Volvo Commercial Vehicles Brisbane South won the metropolitan dealer of the year award while Truck Centre WA Geraldton took home the regional dealer of the year gong as part of the marquee awards.

The Western Truck Group won the health safety and wellbeing regional award while the metro winner was once again Truck Centre WA.

Western Truck Group Rockhampton took out the award for outstanding customer service, with the final award of Volvo Financial Services dealer of the year going to VCV Brisbane.

“The calibre of our dealer network is second to none in this country,” Volvo vice-president Richard Singer says.

“Our customers tell us that our dealers, workshops and service agents consistently go above and beyond to get them on the road and keep them there.”

Singer says the awards gave Volvo the ideal platform to recognise these workers and the committed dealers involved in the Volvo network.

“While having a dealer and service network that encompasses the whole country is vitally important to our customers, it is the people that make up that network that really makes our business what it is today,” he says.

“The feedback we receive from our customers and their employees about our dealer network makes me very proud to be a part of this business.”
