Budget brand currently has over 40 products, with more to arrive by 2017
Global parts supplier Wabco has announced plans to launch a new product range under the brand name ProVia.
The Belgium-based company says the brand will serve “the commercial vehicle industry to bridge the gap between low-end budget parts which can often fall short of quality and reliability expectations and the higher investment required for premium level aftermarket parts for trucks, buses, and trailers”.
With a slogan of ‘there is so much more in every box’, the ProVia budget spare parts range currently sits at 40 products divided across brake pads, coupling heads, relay valves, and coiled and straight tubes.
Wabco says there are 20 brake pad kits available, and the range is capable of covering the most frequently used air disc brakes (ADB) in leading truck, bus and trailer platforms.
In terms of coupling heads, the company says ProVia’s parts were developed in compliance with ISO 1728 standard and provide protection from dust, dirt, and moisture.
For relay valves, there are five different models in the ProVia range, suitable for over 20 different commercial vehicle manufacturers.
When it comes to coiled and straight tubes, the ProVia lineup meets the ISO 7628 and ISO 7375 standard requirements, and features five-layer and six-tube designs.
Wabco says the brand will have over 25 new product categories available worldwide by 2017, such as air dryers, cartridges and pressure limiting valves.
