Daysworth celebrates 30 years of business

Ivan Vodanovich of Daysworth International celebrates 30 years of selling and servicing terminal tractors

By Samantha Freestone

In a stunning show of gratitude to his clients, Ivan Vodanovich of Daysworth International celebrated 30 years of selling and servicing terminal tractors at Melbourne’s Eureka Skydeck last week.

The self-made businessman brought terminal tractors into Australia and has built the business to be the leader in its field.

In celebrating the achievement, Vodanovich says passion, innovation and striving for quality is what has driven the businessman to achieve over the years.

“You can call [today] a Eureka moment”, he says.

Directors and Operations Managers from major freight forwarders across the nation were there on the day.

National Operations Manager for Startrack Express Shane Sternberg says that it was an honour to support Vodanovich.

“It has been a pleasure to support Ivan on this day,” he says.

“We bought our first terminal tractor in 1996 and today have around 15 nationally.

“We have saved time and money as a result of the efficiency of the product,” he says.

Winner of the America’s Cup in 1983 John Bertrand was guest speaker at the occasion, who today is a motivational speaker and television executive.

The name of the business, Daysworth, derives from Vodanovich’s philosophy that one must invest a good ‘days’ worth’ of work every day, compare Bev O’Connor revealed.
