Toll ups the ante on IT security

New secure digital encryption services launched with Egress

Toll has linked with email and file encryption software firm Egress Software Technologies to unveil Secure Digital Exchange (SDE).

The digital encryption service aims to protect the integrity and security of Toll customers’ data.

SDE enables customers to protect internal and external communications and file transfer as well as offering secure workspaces for sharing confidential material, Toll says.

Toll Priority executive general manager Felicity Herron describes it as a “value add to our already robust set of information services”, which includes secure information services through DX Mail.

The data encryption service’s launch took place at the Technology in Government Summit in Canberra this week and will be available for customers in Australia and New Zealand.

It leverages the Egress Switch platform, which the company says enables end-users to share and collaborate securely, while reducing the risk of loss and maintaining compliance.

The integrated services include email and document classification, email and file encryption, secure managed file transfer, secure online collaboration and secure email and file archiving.
